Back to Information For Seniors
There are two different types of classes for
seniors.
The first type is designed for those who walk unassisted. These classes involve
learning the “postures” or “forms” of Tai Chi Chuan. Some of these exercises
interconnect with each other and others are stand alone methods that improve
specific areas of the training.
The second format of class is for those requiring assistance in walking. These
classes involve exercise routines done seated, including breathing and gentle
stretching exercises.
All of the training helps to boost circulation, ease muscular tension and
improve breathing and balance.
What do I need to wear?
Comfortable, loose fitting clothing and shoes without heels are all that is
required.
